As part of the OS Channel Partner Programme, we’ve introduced an enablement scheme that supports the lifecycle of an OS Partner: introductory sessions, deep dives, advanced sessions, and ongoing knowledge transfer through briefings and learning sessions.

This consists of a range of training sessions with briefings on product launches, and a calendar of activities engaging partner technical staff and developers.

How will training and enablement support me?

Enablement is a key component of Partners’ innovation and product development.

Our Education and Enablement scheme will support you in acquiring new customers and accessing new markets. We will help you upskill yourself and your teams on the latest product, sales, and technical detail, straight from channel-focused sales and technical experts.

How is training and enablement structured?

You will be invited to attend Enablement Modules by your Account Manager or through email newsletters, dependent on your allocated tier and understanding of OS data and services.

The Programme Modules will be delivered by multiple teams within OS, including our Channel Sales Development Managers, Technical Consultants, Product Managers, and more. Across the Modules, you can expect to receive a variety of resources, all designed to support your growth as an OS Partner:

  • Traditional webinars with Q&A sessions
  • On-demand Lightning Talks within the Partner Portal
  • Virtual and in-person workshops
  • Plus, a range of articles, blogs, and supporting materials

We recommend that all Partners start at Module One to refresh and confirm their capability and access the latest sales tools and resources. Module One will always remain available to everyone, in case you or your colleagues wish to go back to basics.

If you are a new Partner, you will likely be required to complete Module One prior to starting Module Two – this is at the discretion of your Account Manager who will be in contact and discuss this with you.

If you are more technically minded and already experienced in OS data and services, it may be appropriate to start at Module Two.

1. Onboard and Discover

Whether you’re new to OS, or need a refresher, we provide a collection of regular webinars with Q&A sessions, introducing you to OS, the Partner Programme, and our data and services.

2. Delivery and Deep Dive

3. Advanced and Bespoke

Module Three is specifically tailored to our Premium and Strategic Partners. You are invited to participate in a day-long workshop at OSHQ in Southampton. The agenda will be bespoke to your needs and requirements. An example agenda is detailed below:

  • Technical workshop and Know-how
  • OSHQ Tour

OS will offer tailored sales training, specific to the needs and requirements of partners including:

  • Sales campaign support by product and market sector, including in-person planning meetings, client meeting support, and outbound lead generation activities
  • Training on propositions by key agendas, such as climate change, sustainability, healthcare
  • Competition/Alternative products analysis and sales tactics

Ongoing knowledge transfer

In addition to the three Modules, all Partners can access ongoing knowledge transfer and development on an ad-hoc basis from our Technical Consultants, such as technical or sales queries, or specific technical advice.
